At balalai, algorithms are developed by people, not machines. Algorithms can reinforce, reflect, or reduce biases. Eliminating bias from modeling is complicated, differing across cultures. We do not incorporate labels related to social norms that negatively impact people, such as race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and political or religious belief.
